We at Vidyutm Mobility are staunch believers of the “Make in India” concept. To reinforce this theme, as a budding power electronics startup, we are actively involved in the indigenous detailed design and prototype development of Universal and Upgradable Direct Current (DC) Fast Chargers for sub one hour charging of electric vehicles (scooters to buses), envisioning subsequent large-scale indigenous manufacturing. In parallel, we are also involved in concept and preliminary design of various other modular components for an electric vehicle (four wheelers) which will be followed with complete system integration.

A few of the components worth mentioning are appended below :

• Microcontroller based motor controller for reliable motor operation whilst providing ample top speed and acceleration.

• Li-ion battery testing/data acquisition system and battery managing system (for accurate Li-ion battery modelling and improving battery life).

• Supervisory controller for predictive fault detection and monitoring overall system health whilst providing an efficient and functional human-machine interface.
